MEET JOHN MICHAEL ABBENANTE
Born and raised in Mission, Texas, and now based in San Antonio, John brings 14 years of mortgage lending experience and deep Texas roots to every client he serves. Family is at the center of his life — he's been married to his wife for 22 years, and together they're raising three children alongside their two dogs.
Outside of work, John has a passion for restoration projects — bringing new life to old furniture, classic cars, and forgotten homes. He's also deeply involved in his community: a certified martial arts instructor, a Spurs Youth League Basketball coach, and an active presence in his kids' sports and activities.

"Most originators look at the numbers and the puzzle that needs to be put together, and when pieces are missing or don't fit, they walk away from that puzzle," John explains. "I love the numbers and I love the puzzles too — but I stay focused on the humans behind the numbers." That philosophy drives everything he does.
