Jay was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas — a city where his family has put down deep roots across generations. Following in their footsteps, Jay served in the United States Air Force before launching a career that has now spanned over 20 years in real estate and 5 years in mortgage lending.

Family is at the heart of Jay's life. His partner Alyse and many extended family members live in San Antonio. Outside of work, Jay still helps coach the San Antonio Rugby Club — a community institution founded in 1971, older than even the Spurs.
